National Energy Conservation Day Short video Competition for students of Classes 8, 9, 10 DEC-14th 2024 | Consolation Prizes (10 Winners): ₹2,000 each Winners & School Authority will Receive Certificates, Every year on December 14th, notable officials from the Government of India present these Awards to various sectors of the economy in Recognition of their Excellent Efforts to conserve energy in the country. This scheme has encouraged industries and other organisations to implement Energy Saving measures.

National Energy Conservation Day Nominations for Short Video Competition for Students (8th, 9th & 10th class) on Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation

As part of National Energy Conservation Week, the Andhra Pradesh State Energy Conservation Mission (APSECM) is pleased to announce a Short Video Competition for children in grades 8t, 9th, and 10th. This Competition Intends to Motivate young Minds to Take proactive Actions Towards improving Energy Efficiency and Conservation, as well as Creating Awareness About the Necessity of sustainable energy practices. We welcome all qualified students to contribute creative and thought-provoking videos that highlight energy-saving approaches and innovative solutions for energy conservation. Individuals, communities, and technology play important roles in achieving an energy-efficient future.
Prize Details:

◉ 1st Prize: ₹20,000
◉ 2nd Prize: ₹10,000
◉ 3rd Prize: ₹5,000
◉ Consolation Prizes (10 Winners): ₹2,000 each Winners & School authority will receive Certificates

Every year on December 14th, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), under the Ministry of Power, organises Energy Conservation Day to Demonstrate India’s Achievements in energy Efficiency and conservation, while also working towards its goal of holistic development as part of the country’s overall effort to mitigate climate change.

Please find attached the detailed guidelines for the Short Video Competition. Students who participate in this video competition will be able to present their innovative ideas and solutions for increasing energy efficiency, as well as learn about practical strategies for conserving energy in everyday life. This effort will instill a sense of responsibility in children and inspire them to embrace environmentally friendly activities that can help achieve both local and global sustainability goals.
