According to government rules and regulations, NVS admission has various age requirements. According to government criteria, all applicants must meet age requirements. In simple terms, sixth-grade students must be at least 10 years old and no older than 12. If a candidate does not meet the age requirements, they are unable to apply for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2025.

After successfully clearing the JNVST Entrance Test 2025, candidates must provide the following documents for Admission:

1. Date of Birth Certificate: A copy of the birth certificate issued by a competent government authority.
2. Proof of Eligibility: As per the guidelines of NVS (Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti).
3. Rural Quota Eligibility: For candidates applying under the rural quota, parents must submit a certificate from a competent authority confirming that the child studied in Classes III, IV, and V at a school located in a rural area.
4. Residence Certificate: Valid proof of residence (as per Government of India guidelines) for the parent, indicating the same district where the JNV is located and where the candidate studied Class V.
5. Aadhaar Card: A copy of the Aadhaar Card of the candidate, as required under Section 7 of the Aadhaar Act, 2016, for admission under the Navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme.
6. Study Certificate: A certificate from the Headmaster of the school where the candidate studied, confirming attendance in Classes III, IV, and V.
7. Medical Fitness Certificate: A valid certificate confirming the candidate’s medical fitness.
8. Migration Undertaking: A signed undertaking for migration.
9. Disability Certificate (if applicable): A certificate of disability, if the candidate has any special needs.
10. Category/Community Certificate (SC/ST): If applicable, a valid certificate for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category.
11. Category/Community Certificate (OBC): If applicable, a certificate confirming OBC status as per the central list (format attached).
