Schedule for AP SGTs SALT FLN Trainings in November 2024 The Second Spell of SALT FLN Training for Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs) will take place in Andhra Pradesh from November 25 to November 30, 2024. The National Curriculum Framework, NEP 2020, and NIPUN Bharat recommendations are all in line with this foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) program.

O R D E R:
1. In accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and other important frameworks, the State government is giving fundamental literacy and numeracy priority, as communicated to the Samagra Shiksha District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators listed in the address entry. 2. In this case, a complete program that uses a structured 60-day certified course to improve the abilities of teachers of Grades 1 and 2. This partnership between ASER (Pratham), Samagra Shiksha, and the Department of School Education highlights a blended learning strategy that combines online and in-person training techniques.
3. In light of this, the department has launched a thorough training program to train 34,000 SGTs in six days using a Residential approach throughout the state in 14 spells. As a result, the teachers eagerly engaged in the Residential Training in nine locations throughout the state, and the first and second spells were successfully finished.

In Addition, All Samagra Shiksha District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators in the State are Notified That, as part of this Training program, a six-Day Third Spell Residential Training will be Held From November 25 to 30, 2024, at The Nine locations listed below. 5. How many Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs) need to be trained in total
Proposed District Educational Officer (DEO) roles and responsibilities include:
The DEO will serve as Chairperson for the training program, ensuring its smooth and effective execution.
They will work with DIET principals, District Academic Monitoring Officers (AMOs), Girl Child Development Officers (GCDOs), Inclusive Education Coordinators (IECo), Alternative School Coordinators (ALSCos), and Clerical personnel at the DEO headquarters.
Responsibilities include logistics planning, problem solving, and ensuring that the training meets its objectives.
Teacher Participation:
DEOs must guarantee that Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs) are assigned to the training program on a spell-specific basis.
It is critical that no teacher is allocated to attend the training program more than once.
Venue arrangements:
The AMOs in charge of the training venues will manage logistics, accommodations, and other Essentials for proper operation.
Participant Lists and Proceedings:
Based on the lists provided by ASOs, the district must disclose the participation list for each spell.
Proceedings should also be issued at the district level to ensure clarity and consistency.
Training Scale:
With 34,000 SGTs from all 13 districts, spell-based participant lists must be efficiently managed and released.
Venue Management:
Each location will have four in-charges to handle.
- Vendor coordination
- Food arrangements
- Technical support
- Accommodation, stationery, and sanitation.
Preparatory meetings:
Concerned RJDs and DEOs are ordered to hold preparatory meetings with AMOs, ASOs, GCDOs, IECo, ALSCo, and MEOs to ensure teachers’ timely and smooth participation at the mapped sites.
Monitoring Committee:
A monitoring committee will be formed at each location, comprised of mapped district authorities, to oversee facilities and witness training sessions.
Interactive Flat Panels (IFP):
The District Nodal Officers (DNOs) will work with IFP vendors to install panels in classrooms.
DEOs must follow-up to ensure that installations are completed.
Each classroom will have a DRP (District Resource Person), with one KRP and one MEO assigned to each venue.
Single-teacher schools:
Teachers from single-teacher schools will not be deputed for training during the first four periods, ensuring that Teaching operations be disrupted as little as possible.
This systematic method ensures that the training program runs smoothly while maintaining high levels of collaboration and resource management.
